Roasted Turkey with Herb-infused Gravy



Kick off your Thanksgiving feast with the star of the show – a perfectly roasted turkey. Rubbed with a blend of fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, and sage, this turkey promises a golden, crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. Pair it with a savory herb-infused gravy for an extra layer of deliciousness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole turkey (12-14 pounds)
  • Fresh rosemary, thyme, and sage
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Steps:

  1. 1.Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. 2.Rinse and pat dry the turkey. Season inside and out with salt and pepper.
  3. 3.Place fresh herbs inside the turkey cavity.
  4. 4.Roast the turkey, following recommended cooking times based on its weight.
  5. 5.In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to create a roux.
  6. 6.Gradually add chicken broth, stirring continuously until the gravy thickens.
