Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Streusel

 


Give the humble sweet potato a place of honor on your Thanksgiving table with a luscious casserole topped with a crunchy pecan streusel. The combination of creamy sweet potatoes and the nutty crunch of pecans creates a side dish that's a harmonious blend of textures and flavors.


Ingredients:

  • 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar (for streusel)

Steps:

  1. 1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2.In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter.
  3. 3.Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
